Drift through the Botanic Gardens beneath the stars during Matariki. Our limited-time evening punting experiences offer a peaceful escape on the Ōtākaro Avon River, where the stillness of winter and the beauty of the night sky create a truly memorable experience.

Departing from the historic Antigua Boat Sheds, each 30-minute journey on an illuminated punt invites you to slow down, reflect and connect with the season. Wrapped in warmth and surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the gardens after dark, you'll enjoy a unique winter experience that leaves lasting memories. 

Please note:

• Infants under 5 ride free on a parent’s lap (no separate seat provided)
• All children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult
• Not valid in conjunction with discount vouchers, Annual Pass discounts, combo passes or any other offers
• Weather dependent – cancellation notifications issued by 2pm on the day,
  with full refund provided if cancelled
